LTM, IBM, and Red Hat Partner on Lightwell for AI-Driven Open-Source Remediation

LTM Limited has announced a collaboration with IBM and Red Hat on Lightwell, a platform focused on fixing security problems in open-source software. The company made the announcement on September 9, 2026.
The idea is to help companies deal with software vulnerabilities faster. Instead of only finding a security problem, the work will also focus on testing and putting the fix into use without disturbing important business applications.
LTM to Help Companies Fix Software Issues
LTM will work with Lightwell to help businesses deal with vulnerabilities in their open-source software. Its services will cover checking software dependencies, deciding which risks need attention first, testing fixes and helping companies put those fixes into their systems.
The company will also support remediation programmes and DevSecOps work. The aim is to make it easier for companies to handle security issues across large and complex software environments.
Collaboration with IBM and Red Hat
LTM already has a long-standing relationship with IBM as an IBM Platinum Partner. Through this collaboration, the company will use Lightwell for open-source software dependencies and help customers move from simply identifying vulnerabilities to actually fixing them.
IBM said that software supply chain security needs companies across the industry to work together. Red Hat also highlighted the need for faster patching as the number of software vulnerabilities continues to grow.
