Khavda Solar Project and Hybrid Initiatives
The company has successfully commissioned its 200 MW/240 MWp solar IPP project at Khavda Solar Park, connecting it under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
Additionally, KPI Green achieved early grid synchronisation for its 50 MW/92.15 MWp hybrid project, which includes 16.95 MW wind and 75.2 MWp solar capacity, also under a long-term PPA with GUVNL.
Solar and Hybrid Renewable Energy IPP Projects
In October 2024, KPI Green executed two PPAs with GUVNL. The 250 MW/350 MWp solar project has seen 180.70 MW/251.13 MWp commissioned, with the rest under execution.
The 370 MW/677 MWp hybrid project has reached 269.70 MW/389.70 MWp energisation, with more capacity in progress.
Wind and Battery Energy Storage Projects
The 150 MW wind project has achieved financial closure, while a 300 MW wind IPP project is in the PPA signing phase. Sun Drops Energia Limited, a KPI Green subsidiary, has executed Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreements for 565 MW/1,130 MWh of standalone battery systems with GUVNL, highlighting KPI Green's growing presence in energy storage.
