Infosys Share Price in Focus on Collaboration with Knorr-Bremse for AI-Enabled IT Transformation

Infosys has entered into a long-term collaboration with Knorr-Bremse AG, a company that makes braking systems and other safety-related parts for rail and commercial vehicles, as per the exchange filing.
The work is part of Knorr-Bremse's Tech4Value (T4V) IT transformation programme. Infosys will provide managed services for the company's enterprise applications across its Rail and Commercial Vehicle businesses.
Infosys to Work on Knorr-Bremse's IT Systems
Under the agreement, Infosys will work on different parts of Knorr-Bremse's IT setup.
This includes its ERP, data platforms, engineering systems, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. The aim is to make these systems easier to manage and improve the way they work.
AI Will Be Used in the Work
Infosys will use its Infosys Topaz AI platform as part of the project.
The company plans to use generative AI and agentic AI to automate some of the work. Infosys said this could help Knorr-Bremse improve productivity and deal with issues faster.
Focus on Both Rail and Commercial Vehicles
The agreement covers both of Knorr-Bremse's main business areas, Rail and Commercial Vehicle.
The companies will also work on improving engineering collaboration and employee experience, along with making the IT systems more reliable.
