Upcoming NFOs: Three Passive Funds Open for Subscription This Week!

According to an Economic Times report citing data from Value Research, three New Fund Offerings (NFOs) are scheduled to open for subscription this week.
The launches include two index funds and one exchange-traded fund (ETF), with all three categorised as passive investment products. The schemes are being launched by UTI Mutual Fund and Navi Mutual Fund.
Their subscription windows begin between August 31 and September 1, with closing dates falling between September 10 and September 11, 2026.
UTI BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund
UTI BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund opened for subscription on August 31 and will close on September 11, 2026. The minimum investment amount for the scheme has been set at ₹1,000.
The fund is one of two UTI offerings opening during the week. Both schemes are based on the BSE India Sector Leaders theme and fall within the passive fund category.
UTI BSE India Sector Leaders ETF
The UTI BSE India Sector Leaders ETF also opened for subscription on August 31. The NFO will remain open until September 11, following the same subscription period as the index fund.
The minimum investment amount for the ETF is ₹5,000, higher than the ₹1,000 entry requirement for the UTI BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund.
Navi Nifty REITs & Realty Index Fund
Navi Mutual Fund's Nifty REITs & Realty Index Fund will open for subscription on September 1 and close on September 10. The minimum investment amount for the scheme is ₹100.
The fund is an index-based passive offering focused on the Nifty REITs and Realty segment. It has the lowest minimum investment requirement among the three NFOs scheduled to open this week.
Subscription Dates and Investment Amounts
The three offerings have different minimum investment thresholds, ranging from ₹100 to ₹5,000. The subscription periods are also spread across the first half of September.
New fund launches are used by mutual fund houses to add products to their existing range. The latest set of NFOs is entirely made up of passive funds, comprising two index funds and one ETF.
