Wipro Consumer Care to Buy 60% Stake in Dermatouch in ₹387.5 Crore Deal

Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting has announced the acquisition of premium skincare brand dermatouch for ₹387.5 crore, as per The Economic Times news report.
The deal includes a two-step purchase of shares, wherein Wipro will purchase 60% of the shares upfront and the remaining 40% in the next 3 years.
This acquisition marks the company’s 18th purchase and its first-ever acquisition of a digitally native beauty brand.
Dermatouch's Revenue Doubled in FY26
Dermatouch reported revenue of ₹131 crore in FY26, which is an increase of 114% over FY25. The consumer goods major has built a substantial business out of digital commerce while also tapping into the offline retail market.
Kumar Chander, CEO of Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, said the company was looking for digital brands that could also build a business offline.
Founders Will Continue Running the Brand
Dermatouch founders Anish Nagpal and Amit Purswani, along with the existing management team, will continue to run the business until the acquisition is fully completed.
The founders said Wipro's distribution network and research capabilities would help Dermatouch reach more customers.
Wipro Continues to Add Consumer Brands
The Dermatouch deal follows Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting's acquisitions of Good Home and Eva from TTK Healthcare, along with S brands in the Philippines.
Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting is part of Wipro Enterprises and has been expanding its consumer products portfolio through acquisitions as well as its existing brands.
