VST Unveils New Generation EV Power Tillers and Weeders at EIMA Agrimach 2025

VST Tillers Tractors Ltd introduced its first EV Power Tiller and EV Power Weeder on November 27, 2025, at the ninth EIMA Agrimach in New Delhi, showcasing its move into fully electric farm machinery aimed at sustainable small farm mechanisation.
VST Enters Electric Farm Machinery Space
The electric tiller and weeder were unveiled by S Rukmani from the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Designed for eco-friendly performance, these models aim to reduce operating costs and simplify usage for Indian farmers.
Both products have been engineered and manufactured in house at VST’s advanced facilities, reflecting its commitment to clean energy aligned machinery.
EV Technology Built on Global Experience
VST’s electric mobility journey draws from years of supplying drivetrain components to global electric tractor makers. The company now aims to apply this expertise to Indian smallholder farming through indigenous electric solutions focused on productivity and sustainability.

Extensive Display of Advanced Equipment
At EIMA Agrimach 2025, VST also showcased a broad portfolio including Electric Start Power Tillers in 13 HP and 16 HP variants, Ranger series weeders with crop specific attachments, a maize reaper, engines for portable power solutions and the VST Zetor 50 HP tractor model.
The company recorded 37,297 power tiller units in FY25 compared to 36,480 in FY24, strengthening its leadership in the Indian tiller segment. VST is also preparing to introduce its electric lineup in Europe and other international markets as part of its global growth strategy.
