Upcoming IPO: Medicap Healthcare Filed DRHP with SEBI to Float ₹240 Crore IPO

Medicap Healthcare has submitted its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), proposing to raise ₹240 crore through an initial public offering (IPO).
The IPO will consist entirely of a fresh issue of equity shares, with no offer-for-sale (OFS) component, as per the filing made on Monday.
In addition to the IPO, the Vadodara-based company plans to raise ₹48 crore via a pre-IPO placement. Should this placement occur, the size of the fresh issue will be adjusted accordingly.
Use of IPO Proceeds
Proceeds from the IPO will be used to fund the purchase of plant and machinery for its manufacturing facility, repay existing debt of both the company and its subsidiary, KASR Healthcare, and for general corporate purposes.
