Nifty Under Pressure: Market Opens Lower on Profit-Taking, FII Outflows

Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty slipped in early trade on Monday, weighed down by profit-booking and foreign fund outflows. At 12:35 PM, Nifty 50 was trading slightly lower 0.05% 25,709.85
Exchange data showed that Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) offloaded equities worth ₹6,769.34 crore on Friday, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) stepped in to buy stocks totaling ₹7,068.44 crore. Among the biggest decliners in the Nifty 500 universe were Netweb Tech, Zensar Tech, Chennai Petroleum, Bluedart, and Patanjali.

Earnings Calendar in Focus
Around 200 major companies are scheduled to report results this week, one of the final weeks of the quarter’s earnings season. Notable results expected today include Bharti Airtel, Titan, and Tata Consumer Products.
