BSE Mock Trading on December 20, 2025, for Commodity Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Equity Derivatives and Equity Segments

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has announced mock trading sessions across various segments, including equity, derivatives, currency, and commodity derivatives, on December 20, 2025.
This initiative aims to provide trading members with an opportunity to test their systems and applications under different market conditions.
Equity Segment Mock Trading
The equity segment will have mock trading sessions from both the primary site (PR) and the disaster recovery site (DR).
The PR sessions start from 09:15 AM –12:00 PM (login, block deals, pre-open, T+0/T+1, SPOS, auctions) and DR sessions start from 12:00 PM – 4:20 PM, including pre-open, T+0/T+1, SPOS, periodic call auctions, block deals, auctions, closing and post-closing, with trade modification till 3:45/4:15 PM.
Derivatives Segment Mock Trading
The equity derivatives segment will also conduct mock trading sessions. Participants can log in at 9:15 AM, with continuous trading commencing at 10:15 AM from the primary site. After a switchover to the disaster recovery site, trading will resume at 1:45 PM and end at 4:00 PM.
Currency Derivatives Mock Trading
For currency derivatives, the mock trading will begin at 9:15 AM. Continuous trading for both currency and cross-currency derivatives will occur from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the primary site and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the disaster recovery site.
Commodity Derivatives Mock Trading
The commodity derivatives segment will follow a similar schedule, with log-in starting at 9:15 AM. Continuous trading will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the primary site and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the disaster recovery site.

Market participants are encouraged to actively participate in these mock trading sessions to ensure their systems are robust and efficient.
