BlackRock Arms Buys ₹359 Crore Worth of Shares in ACC Cement and 2 More Companies

On Monday, November 24, 2025, Global asset management giant BlackRock, through its affiliate iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets ETF acquired equity stakes in ACC, Acutaas Chemicals, and TD Power Systems for a combined value of ₹359 crore via open market transactions.
Details of the Acquisitions
According to NSE bulk deal data, iShares purchased:
- ACC: 9.82 lakh shares at an average price of ₹1,911.86 per share
- TD Power Systems:9.68 lakh shares at ₹759.08 per share
- Acutaas Chemicals: 5.3 lakh shares at ₹1,852.12 per share
iShares, a leading global Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) provider with over 1,600 funds, is part of BlackRock’s asset management portfolio.
Market Reaction to Purchases
The stock market responded positively to these purchases on Monday:
- Acutaas Chemicals: Rose 10.18% to close at ₹1,875 per share
- ACC: Advanced 5.46% to ₹1,930 per share
- TD Power Systems: Gained 6.25% to settle at ₹770.10 per share
iShares Sells Shares in Rain Industries and Orient Electric
In separate bulk deals on Monday, iShares also sold:
- Rain Industries: 17.83 lakh shares
- Orient Electric: 12.63 lakh shares
The total value of these transactions was ₹39.7 crore, with shares sold in the range of ₹106.13–₹164.45 per share.
