Airfloa Rail Technology Partners with Big Bang Boom Solutions for Next-Gen Defence Manufacturing

Airfloa Rail Technology has entered into a new strategic partnership and secured a fresh domestic order, strengthening its presence in both defence manufacturing and Indian Railways. The company continues to expand its capabilities across advanced engineering, rolling stock components, and high-precision defence solutions.
Joint Venture with BBBS
Airfloa Rail Technology announced a strategic joint venture with Big Bang Boom Solutions (BBBS), a defence technology company specialising in electronic warfare, AI-based autonomous systems, and advanced materials.
Under this agreement, Airfloa will hold a 51% stake while BBBS will retain 49%, establishing a dedicated manufacturing platform for BBBS’s existing and upcoming defence programmes in India. The collaboration covers a wide spectrum, including electronic warfare equipment, AI-driven autonomous defence systems, precision-engineered components, advanced materials, and defence-grade integration and testing.
The JV is designed to fast-track the industrialisation of defence technologies, enhance export capabilities, and capitalise on fast-growing areas such as UAVs and advanced material systems.
New ICF Order
Separately, the company has received a domestic contract from the Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, for supplying and installing wider LHB coach windows (1460 × 700 mm) with sliding shutters for non-AC coaches.
The order is valued at approximately ₹2.87 crore, with completion targeted by 31 October 2026. Airfloa confirmed that the order does not involve related-party transactions and no promoter or group entity has any interest in the awarding authority.
