Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has expanded its renewable portfolio with the launch of 200 MW of new solar capacity at Khavda, marking another milestone in its large-scale clean energy development.
Khavda Projects Go Live
AGEL operationalised 200 MW of renewable power projects in Khavda, Gujarat through 2 step-down subsidiaries: Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six Limited (75 MW) and Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven Limited (125 MW).
The plants were cleared for commissioning late on November 30, 2025, with power generation beginning December 1, 2025. With this addition, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has risen to 16,929.8 MW.
Strengthening One of India’s Largest Green Portfolios
The commissioning at Khavda reinforces AGEL’s ongoing build-out of large-scale solar capacity across the country.
The new projects form part of the company’s broader strategy to accelerate clean energy deployment and expand its generation base in high-potential renewable hubs like Gujarat.
