The Vande Bharat Express is equipped with CCTV cameras, emergency alarm buttons, and talk back units for safety. Ergonomic reclining seats and rotating executive class seats ensure comfort, while individual charging sockets provide convenience for every passenger.
Safety and Technology at Its Core
Passengers benefit from automatic plug doors, emergency openable windows, fire extinguishers, and a Coach Condition Monitoring System (CCMS) with remote monitoring. The train’s driver and guard communication system includes voice recording and crash resistant memory, ensuring secure operations.

Rajasthan will also see two new Vande Bharat Express trains connecting Jodhpur and Bikaner with Delhi Cantt, cutting travel times by over an hour. The first Vande Bharat debuted in April 2023, between Ajmer and Delhi Cantt, marking India’s semi high speed rail milestone.
