About SAEL Industries Limited

SAEL Industries Limited was incorporated as a public limited company under the Companies Act, 2013 on April 25, 2022. The company operates as a vertically integrated renewable energy independent power producer in India, with capabilities spanning solar module manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), as well as operations and maintenance services for power projects.

The company is engaged in developing, owning and operating renewable energy assets, with a strong focus on solar power generation and agri waste-to-energy projects. SAEL generates revenue through the sale of electricity to central government entities, state electricity distribution companies, and private industrial customers under long-term power purchase arrangements.

As of September 30, 2025, SAEL had a total contracted and awarded capacity of 5,765.70 MW, comprising solar power and agri waste-to-energy projects, along with 3,625 MW of solar module manufacturing capacity. Its integrated business model allows it to participate across multiple stages of the renewable energy value chain, from manufacturing solar modules to power generation and project execution.

The company has established a diversified renewable energy portfolio supported by long-term contracts and relationships with government and private-sector off-takers. Its operational capabilities in module manufacturing, project development, EPC execution and asset management provide greater control over costs, quality and project timelines.

SAEL’s growth strategy is focused on expanding its renewable energy generation portfolio, increasing manufacturing capacity, strengthening execution capabilities and capitalising on the growing demand for clean energy solutions in India. Through its integrated platform and renewable energy expertise, the company aims to support India’s energy transition while driving long-term growth and operational efficiency.

Industry Outlook

  • India remains one of the fastest-growing renewable energy markets globally, supported by favourable government policies, rising electricity demand and increasing investments in clean energy infrastructure.
  • The country has set ambitious renewable energy capacity expansion targets, creating significant opportunities for solar power developers, module manufacturers and integrated renewable energy companies.
  • Solar energy continues to be the largest contributor to new renewable energy additions, driven by improving technology, declining costs and strong policy support.
  • Growing focus on energy security and sustainability is accelerating the adoption of renewable energy by utilities, commercial enterprises and industrial consumers.
  • Domestic solar module manufacturing is receiving increased policy support through production-linked incentives and initiatives aimed at reducing reliance on imports.
  • The waste-to-energy segment is gaining importance as governments and industries seek sustainable solutions for agricultural residue management while generating clean electricity.
  • The renewable energy sector remains highly competitive, where project execution capability, operational efficiency, manufacturing scale, technology adoption and access to capital act as key differentiators.

SAEL Industries IPO Objectives

The company proposes to utilise the net proceeds from the IPO for the following objectives:

  • Invest in one or more of its subsidiaries engaged in renewable energy projects.
  • Support the development and expansion of solar power generation assets across its subsidiary network.
  • Fund capital requirements associated with ongoing renewable energy project execution and capacity expansion.
